Black History Month @ CAPC Oakland

We begin our month-long celebration of Black History this coming Sunday in worship.
Fredora Darmstat will be sharing about Mae Jemison  – the first African-American Astronaut.
Annually we celebrate the diversity with which God created us and the world through various ways such as decorating for Lunar New Year.  We specifically seek to educate, empower and enlighten our community during Black History Month (February of each year) with life-stories of African-American Christians and/or Americans that have shaped the Church, our culture and our nation.
Want to help by doing a concise sharing moment about a historical figure in the life of our country or the Christian Church on a Sunday later in this month? If so contact Monte.
