Recreation VBS 2013 Registration is now Open!
Summer is fast approaching! That means that Recreation VBS is as well. This summer we’re having twice the fun, offering two camps:
June 24-28, 2013
“Words into Action”
August 19-23, 2013
“Urban Peacemakers”
This summer Recreation VBS is also partnering with First Presbyterian Church, Oakland to bring our first week of camp, with their gifted youth leader Di Pagel.
Camp will be 9:00am-3:00pm daily, occurring at College Avenue Presbyterian Church on College Ave (just south of Claremont). Our daily schedule will be welcome with music and a Faith story, followed by a morning of art instruction and creation, lunch, recreation and community service in and around Rockridge.
This year our art show will be taking place on Thursday evening, an unique time to which all family and friends are invited! We’re also expanding the leadership opportunities for older campers in our K-8th grade range.
