Ash Wednesday Service 2/13 @ 7pm

Join us Wednesday the 13th for a modern take on the traditional Ash Wednesday Service.  Ash Wednesday is the first day of Lent (the 40 day season before Easter).  It’s long been a time of spiritual preparation and consecration.  Tradition involves the imposition of a cross of ash on participants foreheads during this annual service.  This serves as a reminder of who we are as human beings in relationship to God, to each other and to all of creation.

Join us at CAPC this year for a service organized around prayer stations – ways to actively pray as we enter into this holy season of mindfulness, gratitude, humility and centeredness.  Starting at 7pm it will last for approximately one hour in our main sanctuary space at 5951 College Ave | 94618.
